Accounting Assistant

Role Profile: The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for handling daily recording and maintaining of accounting related transactions and handle bank reconciliation procedures ensuring efficiency in all transactions. The accounting assistant will be exposed to different facets of the accounting department.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for daily recording, reporting and maintaining of schedules of accounting transactions
2. Prepare bank reconciliation procedures
3. Prepare and process account payable vouches for non-client transactions
4. File BIR returns
5. Assist in preparation of daily accounting reports and quarterly financial statements
6. Prepare GJ entries as assigned
7. Encode journal entries
8. Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Skills & Competencies:
1. Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy; Must be a Certified Public Accountant
2. With at least 1-3 years work-related experience is preferred; Fresh graduate CPAs are welcome to apply
3. Experience in handling general accounting, collections and/or any Accounting function is an advantage
4. Good oral and written communication skills
5. Can handle multi-tasking and work with minimum supervision
6. Team player, Highly organized, Trustworthy, Hardworking and Goal Oriented 7. Knowledge in MS Office is a must

AUDIT ASSISTANT

Job Summary:
- Assists in the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling short–term and long–term audit projects.
- Prepares audit programs
- Evaluates adequacy and effectiveness of existing and internal control system; executes compliance testing of Company policies and procedures, prepares audit reports and memorandum.

FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALISTS COMMUNITY AND FAMILY SERVICES INTERNATIONAL (CFSI)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Finance and Administrative Specialist will assist in the generation of monthly financial reports, including supporting schedules and other periodic reports (weekly cash position/ forecast and monthly bank reconciliation statements) of all assigned funds on a timely basis.
- S/he will ensure all receipts and disbursements are incorrect accounts distributed and all support documentation is accurate and in order, record entries and adjustments.
- S/he will process all cash and/check payments and prepare the corresponding vouchers for the project.
- S/he will monitor, ensure, and effect payment of regular monthly bills.
Qualifications:
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
- At least two years of progressively responsible experience.
- Thorough understanding of non-profit accounting.
- Initiative-taking approach to problem-solving and responsibilities.
- Able to work in a high-stress, multi-cultural and multi-task environment.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
- Proficient in appropriate accounting software.
